The Head of Operations reports to the CEO and is a key member of the leadership team. The individual is responsible for the company’s day-to-day operating activities and services given to our merchants and consumers. As part of the leadership team the role requires the individual to be able to add value to the strategic direction of the business, challenge the status-quo, prioritise and motivate the team, optimize external partners and suppliers.


Ihre Aufgaben

  • Take responsibility and initiative in the optimization of the overall business operations ensuring KPIs are measured, met and improved. Create strategic and business plans, execute, monitor, report and optimize operations by a KPI-based approach
  • Identify patterns and problem areas, and implement effective continue to drive best in class merchant and consumer support by leveraging technologies
  • Serving as an escalation point, facilitating the organizational learning and taking owning high-priority incidents with merchants and consumers
  • Maintain strong relationships with any third-parties (merchants, third party suppliers and with colleagues)


Ihre Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or equivalent education
  • At least eight years relevant experiences in operational management working for multinational corporations
  • Consumer finance experience is a requirement
  • Financial and commercial acumen
  • Results focused through the ability to challenge and motivate the team
  • Strong sales presentation / negotiation skills
  • Results-driven and international mindset
  • Strong customer/merchant focus
  • Leadership skills
  • Fluent in German and English


Remuneration: EUR 65,000 gross annual salary (incl. variable pay) with willingness to overpay.
