Our client, the Microscope unit of a globally successful group companies, is focused on serving customers in research, biotech/pharma, the clinical laboratory, and education with industry leading microscope-based imaging solutions. In order to optimize processes, the Vienna area office looks for an experiences liaison to work with the CEE suppliers and further grow the business in the region.

Your tasks

  • Developing the business plan for Eastern Europe, estimation of market potential
  • Regular visits and expert support, negotiations of price and discount agreements
  • Build, manage and extend relationships with business partners, secure revenue, and profit goals in assigned markets in Eastern Europe
  • Coordinate Austrian business as an interface between Sales Reps and GM
  • Derive concrete action plans and measures from the business plan and ensure the implementation of the measures in co-operation with the General Manager
  • Independent planning of business partner visits, as well as carrying out business partner visits with appropriate regular reporting
  • Visit key customers together and train support business partners in order to present products and expand the customer base, participate in trade fairs
  • Monitoring and reporting of market data and competition, continuous exchange of information and requests with the general manager, supervision of inventory, etc.
  • Regular reporting on the nature, scope, success of the acquisition and sale, as well as passing reports on to the manager
  • Exchanging information with Sales Support, services (offer, pricing information, etc.), sales and product specialists, sales representatives, and other departments (Accounting, logistics, general affairs), as well as customers and external service providers
  • Participation in department and team meetings, product and other trainings

Your qualifications

  • Technical and commercial training, export, and microscopy expertise preferred
  • Ideally sales experience in the field of complex life science investment goods
  • Knowledge of purchasing and decision-making processes in the relevant customer group (dealers/business partners, laboratories, research institutes and in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry)
  • Good IT skills, perfect German, excellent English, Slavic language is a plus
  • Dynamic charismatic self-driven people-person with customer-focus
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, excellent negotiator “who brings deals to a close”
  • "Hands-on" mentality, willing to travel up to 30 to 50 %, location: Vienna

Remuneration: The gross yearly salary provided for this function is a minimum of EUR 75,000 based on a full-time employment. Any potential overpayment depends on professional experience and qualifications.
