Valneva is a speciality vaccine company focused on the development and commercialization of prophylactic vaccines for infectious diseases with significant unmet medical need. Valneva has leveraged its expertise and capabilities both to successfully commercialize two vaccines and to rapidly advance a broad range of vaccine candidates into and through the clinic, including candidates against Lyme diseases, the chikungunya virus, and COVID-19. To support all these innovative developments also within the HR team Valneva is seeking for a highly communicative recruiting expert who fills open positions efficiently and effectively.

Your tasks

  • Establish job profiles and advertisements for job offers in close cooperation with department heads and HR generalists
  • Advertise job openings on company’s careers page, job boards, LinkedIn
  • Source potential candidates from various online channels (professional platforms, social media)
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Scheduling of meetings and active participation in interviews
  • Establishing working contracts in consultation with HR Generalists
  • Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
  • (Co-)Lead and/or be an active part of different HR related projects (e.g. software implementation)
  • Support the HR team on different general topics

Your qualifications

  • At least Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • Proven work experience as a HR Recruiter
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders across and outside the company
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects at the same time
  • Excellent German and English skills

  • Remuneration: EUR 53,000 gross annual salary (plus variable pay) with willingness to overpay
