Our client, Schülke & Mayr Austria, is a long-established, globally active company that distributes high-quality products in the fields of infection prevention and professional wound care. Presently the company is looking for experienced Medical Science Liaison Managers who will support the local distribution partners and represent the company as experts towards local clients in their respective countries:

  • Baltic States (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia)
  • Hungary
  • Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia
  • Serbia

Your tasks

  • Identify, develop, and maintain resilient partnerships with KOLs and HCPs
  • Provide scientific and medical expertise and lead exchange with external experts
  • Act as partner, regional contact, and support for relevant medical-scientific topics
  • Develop, implement, and engage medical activities such as symposia on congresses and attend relevant scientific meetings and conferences
  • Develop scientific presentations and support medical speakers by providing content
  • Participate in congresses and symposia, support local Sales Reps
  • Collaborate with scientific and medical societies and professional organizations
  • Concept, initiate, and supervise scientific trainings and expert meetings
  • Serve as a scientific expert for external and internal stakeholders such as marketing and sales teams and conduct trainings
  • Create marketing materials with Austrian marketing team & adapt brochures to local needs
  • Initiate projects (especially non-interventional studies)
  • Observe continuously the market, acquire relevant information, and update internal stakeholders on scientific community activities, identify relevant competitors
  • Respond to medical and scientific requests from HCPs and sales representatives
  • Plan your visits in the field, document your contacts, take responsibility on your budget as well as on administrative tasks

Your qualifications

  • Successfully completed university degree in science, pharmacy or medicine, preferably with a PhD
  • Prior Experience and success as MSL
  • Knowledge in infection prevention and/or wound care
  • Strong ability to work independently on scientific topics
  • Experience in public scientific presentations
  • Excellent skills in communication, presentation techniques, and written communication
  • High level of personal ownership, proactivity, and organizational talent
  • Confident appearance, strong interpersonal skills, empathy, team spirit, enjoy networking, and desire for a lot of fresh input
  • Willingness to travel (nationally)
  • English fluent in written and spoken; national language native, German as a plus
  • Good local scientific network, contacts to hospitals and local health institutions
  • You live and work in your country as employee of Schülke & Mayr Austria

The position is endowed with an annual gross salary of EUR 50.000, with the readiness for overpayment depending on experience and qualification.
