Our client, Joma Kunststofftechnik GmbH (www.jomapackaging.com), has been active for more than 70 years as a specialist for plastic packaging solutions in 50 countries. The Austrian company convinces with its intelligent and versatile packaging solutions with products of high quality, functionality, and durability and are being developed for the highest demands of our customers – mainly from the food-, pharma-, & cosmetic industry. As a plastics manufacturing company, the importance of sustainability in their packaging solutions and processes is increasingly becoming their center of decision-making. Our client is looking for an international sales person with a high business acumen.

Your tasks

  • Identification of potential new customers and markets local as well as international
  • Initiating and taking over international customer appointments with potential new customers to determine customer needs and actively market the product portfolio
  • Conducting market, customer and competitor analyses to develop market strategies 
  • Responsibility for the offer and negotiation strategy, execution of tenders
  • Preparation of monthly sales controlling for the area of responsibility and initiation of measures in case of deviations

Your qualifications

  • Goal-oriented sales personality – “a hunter, rather than just a farmer“
  • Persuasiveness and negotiating skills
  • Good balance of corporate and customer-oriented thinking 
  • Willingness to travel almost 100% internationally (focus on the European market)
  • Sales experience in the packaging industry 
  • Knowledge of the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, and food industry is a plus
  • English as mother tongue or foreign language / a second foreign language (French or Spanish) desirable (corporate language is English), German is a plus
  • Class B driving licence

The offer

  • Remuneration: EUR 60,000 gross annual salary (plus a very high variable pay) with willingness to overpay.
