An emotional last day at work for our Marion Hahn at E&P
We said goodbye to our dear colleague Marion, who after more than 23 years as a Senior Assistant at Eblinger & Partner and more than 41 years of work in total is going into well-deserved retirement.
With a smile and a tear in her eye, Marion is now saying “goodbye” and ending her last working day with a nice meal with her colleagues from the assistance team before the next exciting phase of her life begins.
We will miss your tireless commitment, your natural support, your accuracy and conscientiousness in your work as well as your warmth and helpfulness in dealing with us as a team. We will miss you!
For the future, we wish you many wonderful moments, time for everything you enjoy and all the happiness you deserve.
We are already looking forward to our joint farewell party as a whole team at the end of November!
Ceremonial handover of the IIC Partners Chair from Charlotte Eblinger-Mitterlechner to Renee Arrington!
The IIC Meeting in Athens ended with a glittering gala in a winery overlooking Athens.
In addition to the awards for the most Global Assignments, which this year went to Visindi AS, Oslo and B. Riley Farber, Toronto, Charlotte Eblinger-Mitterlechner, whose term as Chairlady came to an end, was also honored. She chaired the Board, which consisted of nine directors from America, Europe, Asia and Australia, for three years.
“The three years as Chairlady rounded off my 10 years on the Board of IIC Partners. Chairing an international association, working with people from all over the world, is both a pleasure and a challenge. I am very pleased that we have achieved a lot and had a lot of fun in the process. I have put my foot in one or two intercultural paws, but overall I am very proud of the results of my term of office,” says Charlotte Eblinger-Mitterlechner.
“I would particularly like to highlight Christine Hayward and Melanie Cooper, IIC Partners, who work so professionally that it is a pleasure for every Chair.”
Charlotte Eblinger-Mitterlechner will be succeeded by Renee Arrington, NACD.DC, Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. Renee was previously Vice Chair Americas and has been a member of the Board for many years.

We had the great pleasure of discussing the digital transformation of HR together with Myles Strategy & Innovation!
Under the guiding principle: “Who do we want to create value for, and what value do we want to create?” we learned about new perspectives and best practices that are guiding our industry towards a customer-centric HR transformation.
Special thanks go to Martin Pattera, who impressed us with his in-depth experience in innovation management. His views on how HR can function as a “Human Centric Service Provider” gave many of us food for thought and opened up the exchange between our guests afterwards.

We attended the popular summer networking event “PMCA & friends” at the Summerstage in Vienna!
In a relaxed atmosphere directly on the Danube Canal, Charlotte Eblinger-Mitterlechner, Nadine Hübner and Nadine Weber were able to exchange ideas with many familiar faces from the industry, make new contacts and have interesting conversations.
After the summer event break, it was a successful event at which our connections were rekindled. Thanks for the discussions to Dr. Christoph Klaus, Anton M Luchner, Gregor Klima, Ilda Sabanovic, Thy Lepcha and Ella Liedl-Nweke, among others.

Our team is on track... on trolley track!
We spent this year's half-yearly meeting as a team not only in our office in the city but also on a country excursion in the beautiful Weinviertel region.
Yesterday we went on a sporting adventure through the fields and forests on a trolley ride, followed by a meal and a chat. A welcome break from our daily work routine!
For today's part of the meeting, we were greeted with all kinds of sweets and rolls in the office and were able to take a tour of the latest facts, figures and data together with the management.
Other focal points were ESG in the company and insights from the last global meeting of IIC Partners in Panama.
In addition, the semi-annual social media update took place with a focus on our positive development in the LinkedIn network.
Thanks to our management and all colleagues for wonderful days as a team!

Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming our guests to another Business Breakfast at the Management Club in the inner city. The focus was on the important topic of “female empowerment”, which is more relevant than ever in today's working world.
Our Managing Director Charlotte Eblinger-Mitterlechner gave a highly interesting talk and shared valuable insights on how we can better support and encourage women in the workplace.
“But the women don't want to!”
“No women are applying!”
“In the end, the man was better after all!”
As an HR consultancy, we still hear these phrases when filling top positions. The underlying problems of these statements and how a positive change for more diversity and equality in the workplace can be brought about were part of the content. Other topics covered included structural barriers, stereotypical thinking and unconscious bias as well as gender-specific communication.

Eblinger & Partner at the Personal Manager Expofestival 2024
Today Charlotte Eblinger-Mitterlechner had the pleasure of attending the personal manager Expofestival in the METAHall Vienna, which is of great interest to us as an HR consultancy.
We were particularly interested in the presentations and panel discussions on the topic of AI in HR as well as the exchange with colleagues from the industry. We were also impressed by the insights on salary transparency, the keyword being "Gender Pay Gap Transparency" and measures for implementation.
The Expofestival offered a wide range of insights into the latest developments in the HR industry, including topics such as recruiting, employer branding, digital HR, learning, personnel development, leadership and workplace health promotion.

Well-being as the most important key to good performance?
In cooperation with Hintsa Performance and Eblinger & Partner Executive Search, a great business event on "The importance of sustainable performance in difficult times" took place today at the Vienna Management Club in the inner city.
Annastiina Hintsa gave a highly interesting keynote speech in which she demonstrated the key role of "wellbeing factors", such as healthy sleep, mental well-being, positive stress instead of disstress, based on exciting and insightful insights.
This was followed by a discussion and relaxed networking over delicious snacks.

Results of the Eblinger & Partner Executive Search "HR Barometer" for the 1st half of 2024
With your support as an HR expert, we conducted a survey - together with our IIC Partners colleagues from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Switzerland and Germany - to obtain an assessment of current demand and changes in the HR industry.
The survey was divided into four subject areas:
- Expectations
- HR core topics
- Personnel requirements forecast
- Breakdown of personnel requirements into different areas
The expectations for the first half of 2024 do not deviate from the previous situation for half of the respondents, while 47.7% expect the current situation to remain the same. 44% even expect the situation to worsen compared to the November/December 2023 survey period.
The core HR topics for the new half year are diverse. 49.5% are focusing on recruiting and filling difficult positions. Employer branding and personnel development will be among the core HR topics for 44% of respondents. Dealing with part-time work, flexible working hours, 4-day week, home office and work-life balance are important for 33.9% of respondents. 34.9% will deal with tools/technologies and AI, 29.4% will have more to do with ESG/Sustainability/Diversity & Inclusion. 19.3% state that they will have to deal with staff reductions and cost savings.
For the majority, namely 51.4%, the need for personnel is expected to remain the same, 26.6% see an increasing need for personnel in their companies, 22% expect a decreasing need for personnel. It turns out that sales has the highest demand at 35.8%, followed by IT at 30.3%.
Thank you for your support! The jointly generated survey results provide an important insight into expectations and priorities in the first half of 2024.
Eblinger & Partner annual conference 2024
We experienced a content-rich annual conference at our Eblinger & Partner office at Weihburggasse 9, 1010 Vienna!
A big thank you goes to our management, who gave a detailed review of the past year and an outlook on developments in 2024, as well as to our highly committed employees, who contributed to this successful conference with specially prepared contributions!
In addition to a well-founded insight and outlook on our performance, "Figures, data, facts", by Charlotte Eblinger-Mitterlechner and Florens Eblinger. Katharina Joana Ferner gave us an overview of the social media statistics, including content ideas for future projects.
As "Diversity & Inclusion" is a lived topic at Eblinger & Partner, Viktoria Kaufmann presented newly implemented strategies in the recruiting process, Ute Maria Gabriel explained age discrimination and Vesna Nakic showed new ways of dealing with gender-conform language.
The fun and active part of the conference was provided by a Vienna-loving employee who once again sent us through the city center with a creatively devised puzzle rally, taking us to places and corners with a historical background that are rarely consciously noticed in everyday life.
