Our dear colleague, Martina Grimmlinger, Senior Assistant, is celebrating her 20th anniversary at Eblinger & Partner today!

Our entire team would like to congratulate her and thank her for her commitment, loyalty, warmth, and professionalism! With heart and reliability, she has shaped our work over the past two decades and successfully supported countless projects.

"I can't believe how quickly the last 20 years have passed.
I can still remember my first few months in Goldschmiedgasse, and then soon after that, helping to organize the move and merger of two offices to Weihburggasse was an exciting task and a great challenge at the same time. I learned a lot and was given a wide range of responsibilities.

It was always very exciting because the flexibility that was expected of me was also something I could always count on from E&P when it came to working hours or areas of responsibility.

I found the last few years particularly exciting—not only because of the pandemic/working from home, etc., but also because I was able to assist in filling exciting positions in the banking sector and industry.

The team spirit inspires me time and again, and it's fun to celebrate shared successes.

Reception, sales support, project assistance, purchasing, advertising, facility management, event organization, and SVP are very varied activities – I wouldn't want to miss any of them.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to you all and look forward to more exciting projects and an appreciative working relationship full of success, fun, and harmony."

Dear Tina, we say THANK YOU!

Yesterday, Eblinger & Partner participated in the Vienna Business Run with great enthusiasm!

Nine colleagues took part in two running groups and one walking group – accompanied by our cheerleaders, who supported us loudly.

Our shirts read: “Connections give you an edge.” That's exactly what we experienced: when everyone pulls together, athletic effort becomes a shared success.

An evening full of team spirit, motivation, and joy, and a great example of how we at Eblinger & Partner live connections that create value.

A workshop day full of energy and team spirit

Charlotte Eblinger-Mitterlechner had the opportunity to organize a team-building workshop with Vaillant's international HR team. Together with HR directors from Ukraine, Poland, Switzerland, Czechia, Slovenia, Slovakia, and Romania, it was a day full of inspiration, exchange, and palpable team spirit.

A special thank you goes to Carolin Karner for the invitation and the great cooperation. It was a pleasure to organize this great day with you and to take away so many valuable ideas.

E&P CEO's assessment of this topic:

The article “Making work fulfilling: Why work-life balance is an illusion” makes an important point: In times of skilled labor shortages and demographic change, it is not enough to create pressure to fulfill duties through performance targets and threats. It is just as crucial to make work meaningful and desirable.

“When employees enjoy their work, when they feel appreciated in the company and see real opportunities for development, they remain committed and do not seek fulfillment outside of work,” explains expert Charlotte Eblinger-Mitterlechner, Managing Director of Eblinger & Partner.

She adds: “In a world where social security is taken for granted, people want more than just to secure their income. They strive for meaning, belonging, and personal growth. Companies that offer individual solutions and take the needs of their teams seriously will not only attract talent more quickly, but also retain them in the long term and motivate them to perform at their best.”

Our team sends you many summer greetings!

We continue to work intensively for our customers during the warm months, but at the same time we rejoice with our colleagues over well-deserved time off and sunny days.

This reveals very different sides of summer: at the padel tournament in Mallorca, father and son played as a team, combining sport and time together, while others experienced Venice and Extremadura in Badajoz on a cultural trip. The journey continued with a hike in Alpbach and a trip to Cornwall, where the tranquility and landscape were impressive. At Grundlsee, there were picnics in nature, and in Apulia, sun, food, and the Italian way of life were enjoyed.

We look forward to hearing your summer stories and wish everyone who is still traveling relaxing days with many wonderful moments!

A visit at Eblinger & Partner!

Martin Rupprecht from the Upper Austrian Health Holding was welcomed as a guest in our office by Charlotte Eblinger-Mitterlechner, Viktoria Kaufmann, and Martin Pichler.

The meeting focused on an interesting exchange about personnel challenges in the hospital sector, from staffing specialist doctors to strengthening nursing staff.

As the largest healthcare provider in Upper Austria with over 18,000 employees at twelve locations and nine state hospitals, the Upper Austrian Health Holding (OÖG) is a cornerstone of hospital care.

In particular, the Kepler University Hospital Linz, as the largest hospital in the state, plays a central role in cutting-edge medicine and teaching.

We would like to thank Martin Rupprecht for his candid insights and look forward to further exchanges in order to jointly develop solutions to the challenges facing the healthcare sector.

Summer discussion in July

At our latest summer discussion and business lunch in the heart of Vienna, Charlotte Eblinger-Mitterlechner and Martin Pichler exchanged ideas with Urs Mathis and Dr. Christoph Klaus from Schülke & Mayr.

Together, we examined the Austrian labor market, the demographic differences between eastern and western Austria, and the subtle nuances of business etiquette in Austria compared to Switzerland.

Many thanks for the valuable exchange and the new ideas for our consulting work!

Our managing director Florens Eblinger, MBA, thus represents our intention to work together to create a diverse and sustainable economy, because diversity is our strength.

In our daily work, we strengthen the visibility of all talents, support our customers with fair, transparent selection processes, and together expand our view of unrecognized potential.

The Diversity Charter connects us with pioneers from business and society, promotes the exchange of best practices, and underpins our ESG responsibility.

Together, we advocate for a working world in which diversity is valued because it helps us all move forward.

The feeling of community was the focus of this year's mid-year conference!

First, we went 60 meters underground to the Hinterbrühl Sea Grotto, where we marveled at an underground lake at a temperature of 9 °C. For us, it was a stark contrast to the hot summer weather above ground!

Afterwards, we ended the day with a barbecue together. Between wisps of smoke and freshly grilled food, we chatted and laughed a lot. We will certainly draw strength from this for our everyday work for a long time to come.

Today, on the second day of the conference, we started with presentations from our managing directors: “Facts, figures, and data” gave us an overview of the year. Many thanks to Charlotte Eblinger-Mitterlechner and Florens Eblinger, MBA.

Katharina Joana Ferner then provided exciting insights into our social media strategy and content from the last six months, before Viktoria Kaufmann and Charlotte Eblinger-Mitterlechner jointly moderated their interesting growth mindset workshop.

In between, we enjoyed delicious, homemade dishes from our hosts at habs*gut Café & Tagesbar and a very relaxed time with the team.

An all-around successful conference that shows us how well work and teamwork go together at our company. Thank you for two great days!

Don't fix the women, fix the system

... said Patricia Neumann in conversation with Charlotte Eblinger-Mitterlechner during a fireside chat on the topic of female loyalty in top management – how do women support each other in their careers?

The women-only event took place on the Bel Etage of The Natural Gem on Universitätsring. At the invitation of Eblinger & Partner Executive Search, women from management positions in various industries attended the after-work event to join in the discussion.

Female loyalty in top management: How do women support each other in their careers?

Success in your job, your career, and a fulfilling job are not individual achievements but depend not only on your own performance but also on the people who work with you and support you. People live and work in groups and are not solitary beings. The more support we receive, the better things go.

But who supports whom?

In line with the motto “Once you've reached the top management level, send the elevator back down and bring more women up!”, we are seeing a great trend in terms of loyalty among women. The key here is to keep at it!

Female loyalty—the solidarity among women—differs from the way men stick together. Although we live in the 21st century and have never been closer to gender equality in society, men's careers tend to follow a different path than women's careers.

For centuries, men spent time outside the family in male groups, whether in the army, sports clubs, or, for a long time, at work. Women were dependent on men (husbands and fathers) and reduced to the family. Loyalty among women was neither rewarded nor encouraged; historically, it was often underestimated and hardly recognized, even though it releases high synergy effects, especially in a professional context. But women are catching up!

On the path to equality in the workplace – in management positions, on supervisory boards – women will progress more quickly if they are supported by men and women, by superiors, peers, and colleagues. Not being held back is the first step. Don't put obstacles in the way. Active support is the second step.

What does that mean? How does female loyalty work at all levels?

- Speak well of each other – even behind their backs

- Speak up – actively intervene when someone speaks badly or discriminatorily about another woman

- Eliminate unconscious bias and evaluate the performance of other women objectively or even benevolently

- Actively promote, support, and mentor women
